Powerslam

After a 6 year absence, Team Powerslam is bringing Pro Wrestling back to
Orangeville, ON. On June 15th, 2012 The Masonic Lodge will host Powerslam
Wrestling's “BIG SLAM”.
Leading up to the Main Event six pro-wrestling superstars will go
head-to-head in a tournament to qualify for the 3-way match giving them
the opportunity to be crowned the first ever Powerslam Wrestling Champion.

TOURNAMENT CHALLENGERS:

Josh Alexander
Widely considered pro wrestling's best kept secret, Alexander; slightly arrogant from
his recent victory over former ECW Superstar Steve Corino for the UIPW
Heavyweight title, is confident that he will add one more title to his already
impressive collection of championship belts.

Bobby Thunder
Born and raised in Orangeville, ON, Thunder will be making his return to Pro
Wrestling after a mysterious 7 year absence. Known for having many intense battles,
Thunder is excited to once again entertain his home town crowd.

Matt Burns
With the passion and heart of this small town hero, Burns is a 10 year veteran of the
sport. Former Ring Wars Heavyweight champion; defended his title in Orangeville in
2005 and is eager to return to once again lift the championship gold above his head.

Sebastian Suave
This cocky aristocrat has not been hiding his lack of enthusiasm about his upcoming
trip Orangeville, a town he feels is below him. Suave was quoted as saying “The
allure of championship gold is the only reason I would even consider coming to this
small disposable town.”

Hornet
The “Prince of Fiji” has wrestled all over the world in countries such as Canada,
USA, Japan, & Mexico. Trained in many styles of wrestling, Hornet looks to win his
first title in the heavyweight division.

The sixth and final competitor in the tournament is yet to be named.

We are excited to announce that International TV personality RJ City, known as
“Gildar”; one of the defenders of the BBC & YTV childrens show Splatalot, will be
making a special celebrity appearance during the show. RJ City recently starred in
his first motion picture release; Monster Brawl, the comedy horror flick depicts some
of the most notorious monsters in a tournament to the death.

The “BIG SLAM” on June 15th at The Masonic Lodge in Orangeville, ON is set to
feature 8 matches from some of Pro Wrestling's top talent.
Tickets are $20 per person. Doors open at 7pm. Show is approximately 3 hours.
Tickets are available in advance and at the door based on availability.
